"Count On Me"

Can the lyrics to a song truly tug on your heart strings to the point that you are willing to change your whole life? Can the same mentioned song really provide insight to what else is out there? Does it provide a valid case for reality? Or are songs like movies? Do they set out to remind us of what SHOULD be, but isn't?

Something to ponder, I suppose.

Gretchen, you have always had songs that inspired you. I can remember the music when we used to ride in the VW. I do believe that songs can change your life. For me it was Eric Clapton singing "Tears in Heaven" I can remeber the exact moment and what was going on at that time...

Dad, I remember listening to "Tears In Heaven" up in Adam's room before school one day. You brought it for me to listen to. I'm not sure why, or at least I don't remember now, but....I remember too.
Thanks. I needed to hear this.

Songs are huge. I'll hear a song driving down the road and it takes me back to a time years ago that had been long forgotten.
and some songs bring back memories that are better left as 'memories" because they stir up buried feelings...that you miss.
